As dumb a move as that was we got nothing else. Have you seen our WR's? Outside of MT it's romper room. If we had a real slot receiver we'd be unstoppable. Hoping we make a trade. There has to be someone out there.

TreQuan looked okay to me. He had a nice route that should have went for a TD but Giants DB made an excellent play on it. And Meredith was okay I thought. It's just that when you have a receiver like MT, the dropoff between him and the other receivers is huge. Larry Fitzgerald syndrome.

Watched my share of Dez up here in Deathstar nation over the years ...

Never got any separation or ran precise routes but was good at "see ball", "get ball" type of WR. Timing and running accurate/exact routes is a must in SP type of offense.
