Saints cut Brandon Tate

The Saints released returner Brandon Tate on Tuesday. The team did not have a corresponding move but needs a spot to activate running back Mark Ingram from the suspended list.

I would have cut Gillisbee/Washington on Monday.

As scary as that bobble/recovery was from Tate, I wished he would have gotten another chance. He was really good in camp & over the years he's proven his ability as a good special team/punt returner.

Not sure why the brain trust would want to risk injury with Kamara on punt duty or "butter fingers" Ted Ginn Jr back there.

It made no sense to me that they brought him back for returns that’s to dam pressure situation in my book for a guy that’s not been in a game for 4 weeks ; as a receiver would have been better for him just not to field punts
