The New Orleans Saints look to continue their winning streak at home in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Monday Night Football against the Washington Redskins.
Adrian Peterson returns to the Dome, this time a Washington Redskin, to take on one of his former teams.
The Redskins are coming off of a 31-17 victory over the Green Bay Packers.




The game can be seen locally on ESPN.

Have to think we'd be hard to beat on a night like tonight, but the Redskins are no joke, and we're certainly no stranger to Alex Smith.

Brees goes for 308yds, 3 TDs, 1 INT
Vonn Bell with an INT, Davenport with a sack.
Meredith with two TDs.
Ingram and Kamara combine for 150yds and two TDs

In six games vs Washington, Brees has 11 interceptions to 8 TDs and a 58% completion rate. Lowest of any opponent.

I think this game gets out of control. Both teams contain the run well so what else is there left to do? Chunk it back and forth. I could see this thing getting in the 40's easy.

They have had two weeks to prepare and their D is rested and want blood.

Interesting Stat/Factoid: Washington Redskins are 14-15 (since 1990) following their BYE week...

Source: Pro Football Reference - In multiple seasons, from 1940 to 2018, playing for the Washington Redskins, in the Regular Season, in games that followed a bye week, sorted by most games matching criteria

Redskins own the series 11-4, though we're 2-1 vs them at home in the Dome in the Payton era...

Skins Defense, worth a second look?

They have played 2 teams that are 1-4. They are 1-1 against those teams.

The Colts average 23.6 ppg
The Cardinals average 13ppg, and that is skewed because they put up 28 against the 49ers this past week, absent that game they average 9 ppg

They played 1 .500 team, the Pack and won at home
Packers average 23ppg

The skins average letting up 14.7 ppg

The teams they have played average 19.8 ppg scored...

so Their D might be decent, but they haven't come up against an offense like ours and so I like our chances. If we come out ready to play I think we score more than 30 and win

Usually I worry about our performance, but at home on Monday night, week before the bye and Drew possibly breaking two records...I have a feeling we have a good game offensively

Idk about yall but im as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. We always have a tough time with washington regardless of records, then add the fact Smith always goes ham on us, puts me on edge. Oh and that seth mcfarlane looking kerrigan is a hell of a rusher, it wont be a easy win.
