I'm with you on both. Anzalone (he got tossed by Adrian) & Kurt is still taking bad angles. Overall both have played poorly. We must have better production from these two players going forwad. We'll need their best effort against the stronger teams (Rams & Vikes).
I thought Coleman was supposed to be an upgrade over Vaccaro. How has he been this year? I still have hopes for him. Williams isn’t exactly lighting it up this year either.

I thought he would be but so far he's been below average. Bad angles, missed tackles (on crucial 3rd downs). Hadn't looked at his PFF grades as of late but I'm sure they aren't good. On the flip side, Vonn Bell has been playing a lot better. How much can we attribute this to Kurt & his "veteran presence "?

Hindsight is 20/20 however it's starting to look like the Saints may have over paid for Kurt. Long season ahead but I think at some point he'll help us win more defensive battles.

Marcus Williams' PFF is at 60.2 which is "above average" according to their scale.

Coleman is at 54.7 - "average"

Vonn Bell is at 79.8 - "good"

For the compensation given this off season to Coleman in Free Agency, "average" (C) isn't good enough. He must play better at the position.
