this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; 11 sacks and 106 total years allowed this past game. Does Taysom Hill outshine Lamar Jackson? Brees is a better QB than Flacco. We have better RBs. And WRs. Definitely toughest test to date....

Re: Ravens Defense
Didn't the 1st rounder sling the ball around for over 300 yards just last week on the mighty Raven's D? I like our match ups against Flucco and their O.
Average WR's (Crabtree /Slick Willie) that won't scare you with the deep ball, decent RB's etc. Like FryDaddy stated in another post ... Deadskins were highly ranked defensively until they played us. Secure the rock, create turnovers on D, get off the field on 3rd down & play good special teams ... Saints will leave Baltimore with a Dubya . |

Re: Ravens Defense
Considering that the Titan's rushing attack ranks at #30, the Raven's basically challenged Tennessee to run the ball.
Looking at the Saint's vs the Raven's pass rush. Through the first five games the Raven's had 3 more total sacks. Most of their sack count came against Buffalo (6) and Cleveland (5). Other than that they are averaging about 1 per game. This will be a good game to judge the potency of the Saints' offense and to see if the D continues to improve. |

Re: Ravens Defense
They have John Brown. Very good deep threat WR. Very fast. Watched some Ravens games and he is important part of their offense. Crabtree is washed up. Willie Snead is rock solid though. Makes important catches (same role he had with us). But everything starts with their big O-line and running game. Stop their running game and they will have no offense (no play action...)

Re: Ravens Defense
The key thing will be to pressure Flacco. So far this year he has 4 picks and 3 fumbles. Hopefully, our D line can duplicate the effort they had against Washington with similar results.

Re: Ravens Defense
"We a bout to see how talent + innovative coaching beats defense in the modern nfl. I expect a lot of points, and a lot of errors by our offense trying to keep up. Flacco's ugliest game of the year coming up".
That's a funny post by Raven nation fan. |

Re: Ravens Defense
The Titans are garbage. Any team that allows there QB to get sacked 11 times, is pure trash. I like our chances against them with the weapons we have. We are not the Titans, they will not be rolling over us.

Re: Ravens Defense
This is one of those games I can see us losing by making stupid mistakes and shooting ourselves in the foot.
