The New Orleans Saints could be without both of their starting offensive guards in Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The team ruled out starting left guard Andrus Peat (concussion) on Friday and listed right guard Larry Warford (back) as questionable to play.

Peat was limited Wednesday and didn’t practice Thursday or Friday. The Saints listed him with a head injury Wednesday and Thursday, but updated his injury to a concussion on Friday. Peat declined comment when approached about his status on Friday.

Warford practiced fully on Wednesday before sitting out Thursday with the back injury. He was limited on Friday.

Josh LeRibeus started in place of Peat in Weeks 1 and 3, so LeRibeus presumably will fill in at left guard again. It’s unclear what the backup plan is if Warford can’t play. The team signed veteran Michael Ola this week, but centers Cameron Tom and Will Clapp spent time at guard during training camp.

Peat has a concussion, presumably. How can a lineman get concussed in limited practices on a bye week?

Can Taysom Hill play guard too?

well that's splendid. Facing the nastiest QB sacking defense we've seen this year and we've got a starting OG down & one limping. Not good for the ground game & even more concerning for Brees' protection.

So Brees goes 38-46 with 3 TDs

The offensive line worries me long term
Peat and Armstead are always hurt, even if they play they seem injury prone.
With little in the way of money or draft picks the front office and scouts need to have a hard look at what they can do

Armistead finally seems to have gotten his under control. Peat hopefully will too. So is bushrod in then or what? Larry going to play.

First of all, Peat really hadn't started having injury issues until the fracture, but he's had a hard time on the mend since January...

The fracture likely happened during the game and was aggravated with a mild helmet slap that exacerbated it, until you have one - don't judge...

Tom stepped up nicely I thought. I kept an eye on him and he did his job well enough to solidify the line.
