I love the information this site gives on the team but I feel like its dropping the ball on making a protest to keep the saints in LA. Discussions on defense or whatever are fun but isn't there a more important issue that seems to be ignored. I don't want to hear about impartial views, THE SAINTS COULD LEAVE LA. This site should be directing people on what they have to do to voice there concerns. I sent my letters to the Mayor/Gov. and to Benson and plan to send more. I will send the information if that is what the monitors would like, but i feel like it should already be out.

I think there are no less than 3 or 4 discussions on this very topic, and has been since negotiations began back in October. Seems the topic has been divided here as well, with some on the side of Benson and some on the side of the state. I have no idea what you expect to be done to keep the team from leaving by this site. Halo could ask for donations and we could see if we can raise 650 million dollars to buy them, but we will prob fall way short. I mean I have 500 mil, but I doubt the rest of these bums could come up with the other 150. Seriously though, what exactly do you expect this site to do? Or what is it that the site is not doing?

Post the information needed to contact the people that are involved with the the deal. People writing about their concerns to Benson and Blanco, I realize it's a small part but its the only part that us fans can take. This information should be topped on the forums and encouraging people to write. I come on this site and gladly see many saints fans but feel alone in my efforts.

Ok. So if that's what you think this site needs to do, email that info to Halo and suggest it. I pretty sure he'll do it if he agrees that it would be helpful in keeping the saints in La. I happen to think Benson is full of carp, but that doesn't mean he wont move the team.

i thought Bud Adams was full of crap too. After all he pulled this leverage/threat routine so often we just stopped payiing attention, and when we finally called his bluff, he called U-Haul. Dont take it for granted right or wrong what Benson says or wants....bottom line is if you want the team to stay, you cant dismiss his threats as empty. His tactics are transparent and predictable and he is a greedy SOB, but this is his job and investment and its his right to make it as profitable as he can. Im not defending him, it is just how it is, and you dont want to know how it feels when your team is gone...especially when you know up front you got next to no chance to ever get another.

I personally think Nagan needs to step it up a notch, and as relieved as i was to finally hear him speak, i was equally as disappointed to watch him do nothing for so long.

Let him know he's being a greedy sleezeball and that he should stop trying to cheat the State and accept a good offer that had been made. I quite quite frankly think people are just fed up with the State vs Benson. I must say it gets a little rediculous after awhile. I hate to say it but i think alot of people are just sick of this soap opera. Another thing it seems as though the Saints will not move anyhow something will get done. Another thing do you actually think that 24 owners will approve of a move of the Saints I think not. As far as the whole San Antononio thing there has not been a letter of intention sighned also the director of the Alamo dome has not heard anything of these discussions. Everyone also knows it takes preparations to relocate a team more than one year. This scare tactic of leaving after this season is not feasible, disorganised any respect. I will leave an article I find most amusing about the whole San Antonio thing as conclusion. ..unless this site can come up with the cash to build a new stadium and give the Saints 15,000,000 a year, there really isn't much this site can do...
