They seldom post anymore. But several people (including YOU) remind me of him.

When they left for another team he frequently did.

So again, explain to me the level below stupidity and ignorance where you don't understand a response to what you write. I may be too to have that low of an understanding.

But seriously, what is the point of having a sig like that, blasting people for saying something negative, jumping on the badnwagon of anyone who runs in here claiming to be the eternal optimist, and then saying

If they seldom post any more, why is the crusade for optimism remaining? Are people not happy enough on here for your crabby arse? I know damn well I have said many good things on here about this team and players, so if I remind you of this person, they must have said plenty of good things too, so this whole premisse of this being the black hole of pessimism is just flawed and pointless. Unless like I said, predicting .500 is your definition of a pessimist. But then, you said it wasn't. So color me hard of understanding, but what gives? Is it something you use to get off during the offseason? It's pretty boring for me this time of year too so I need something to do. Maybe I can help. But since NOONE I have seen on here is as you are claiming, and since this individual SELDOM posts any more, what exactly is the point?

You asked if the guy I used as an example still posted. There are numerous examples of pessimism on this board. Why do you think we had a newbie post a topic entitled WHY SO NEGATIVE ?????

Missing the point. You said there are people who post who NEVER have anything positive to say and ALWAYS crap on the team. I said noone here is like that. And we all saw what that voodoo guy was like. I hope he is still around though, but he seemed to be itchign for a fight withthat thread. Everyone on this site has said SOMETHING negative about the team, hell I bet even on the Pats' forum that happens. I am refuting your notion there are certain posters who who ALWAYS post this way and NEVER say anything good about the team. I am sure if they knew who they were, they would want to amend that or at least be aware of it. That's what I am questioning. And if noone here is like that, which I have not seen anyone to just be a 100% crab ass about the team, I don't see the reason for this optimism v. pessimism(loser) thing to even continue. Everyone on here has said something positive about the team, and really shouldn't be faulted for outbursts during emotional times, like the draft, where history appeared to be repeating itself. Cooler heads have prevailed, and we are all looking forward to the season. I guess I am on this so hard cause it appears, at least to me, there has been a different feeling about the forum lately, and I have seen it to be pretty light-hearted, fun, and overall, pretty optimistic yet you still take this hard line OPT v. PES stance whenever anyone has something negative to say, no matter that in another thread they may very well be saying something positive.

But whatever man, you be however you like. I just don't understand it and I guess it is not for me to understand.

Those comments are from other posts you have made, not just this one but you did say:

Mention a positive about our Saints, and there right there with a negative to crap on it.
Mention a negative about another team, and there right there with a positive to crap on it.

Do "they" do this once a day, hardly ever, seldom, frequently, always, or never? Seems like to make your point, these individuals would have to be doing this fairly frequently, if not always. If "they" don't, what is your point?

You also said:

Please don't confuse criticism with pessimism. There are plenty of guys here (you included LB) that are quite knowledgeable about the game and correctly point out valid problems with this team. But there are some posts that just keep hammering the "ah nevermind, we suck, we'll never do anything right" attitude.

Who are these mysterious always pessimistic individuals who are out to ruin the fourm and squash all optimism wherever it may lie? Got some names? I can guarantee anyone you mention I can find posts where they have said positive things about players or the team in general.
