Re: ESPN: Teddy Bridgewater is Saints' best trade asset before deadline
I think we have to retain him as an insurance policy right now. God forbid Brees suffers an injury, Teddy has more of a polished skill set and starter experience than Taysom Hill does right now and would be less of a drop off as a fill in starter to carry us through any time Brees misses. And we could still showcase the same Taysom gadget plays as we do now. If we moved Teddy for another asset before the deadline we would be in a dangerous position should we need to sub at QB.
I did hear talk of rumors surrounding Bridgewater to the Jags and Calais Campbell coming our way which would be a massive upgrade to the d-line rotation though. |

Off the charts really. I think he is a fine QB but we need to focus on our strength and if the Jags want to give up a 2nd or a 3 and change take it and run. |
