Saints' Eli Apple expects to play vs. Vikings

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; NFL network replayed the MNF game with the Giants vs ATL. Applebee's gave up 2 catches for 22 yards & a grab on Julio J. I'll take that all day from any cornerback not named Lattimore. I'm sure he'll play ...

I'm sure he'll play tomorrow in certain packages. Glad the Saints FO made a move to get him.

He's well spoken and should fit right in with this strong locker room and college team mates playing along side him.

It took our backfield an off-season and quite a few games before they played instinctively.

Possibly a measured transition would be better in the long run?
Especially given how “complicated and confusing “Allen’s defense is said to be. It took our own DBs 3 weeks to start to come together and they had camp.

A couple of the players said part of the problem was getting used to playing with the new members in the secondary, P-Rob and Coleman.
I don’t see us throwing him out there and having any more success than we have had. May be worse off. It’s going to take him a few games. I think the best we can hope for is that Crawley feels a fire under his ass and steps his game up.

So you are saying that Crawley is definitely going to be starting then, right? It'll be interesting to see if you are right ...
