What's the Best French Quarter Bar for Watching Saints Games?
I know this might explode into an argument of opinions, but an out-of-towner needs to know.
I'll be flying in Sunday 11/18 for the Thanksgiving game and would like to experience the Eagles game with some true fans in the area. The reason I say the French Quarter is that I won't have a rental car and want a bar within walking distance (I know I could Uber/Lyft but I'm saving that money for beer). You fans are the best resource for a true opinion, not a Google search linking to some travel site. |

Follow the Black & Gold Jerseys, you can't go wrong.
Just don't go down alleys. |

French Quarter bars...
Deanie's would probably be pretty good. The Alibi if you want a serious dive complete with knuckleheads. The Deja Vu or Chart Room maybe Harry's corner if you are a serious drunk. I don't really know. I go to all of these places before games or after games. Never been in one for a game. Here is a list from two years ago. Only two French Quarter bars, neither of which I have been in. https://www.nola.com/bar-guide/index...rs_saints.html I imagine every bar in the City with a TV will have the game on and fans in there. Walk Ons just outside the dome would probably be good too. Just about any hotel bar would be a good choice. CBD close to the Casino i would go to Gordon Biersch for a more upscale choice |

It won't be hard to find a fun place and every bar will have the game on TV.
A couple of my favorites are: Corner Oyster House on Decatur or Tropical Isle on Bourbon. Both have great atmosphere.....no food though at Tropical Isle. Have fun! |
