CBS protects Saints-Steelers Week 16 kickoff from flex to prime time
Had the Baltimore Ravens not lost to the Cleveland Browns on a last-second field goal the week before, their kickoff with the Saints could have been flexed to Sunday Night Football
Per Pittsburgh Steelers director of communications Burt Lauten, that won’t be the case in Week 16. Lauten relayed a notice from CBS Sports that several of Pittsburgh’s upcoming games on their network would be protected against prime time flexing, including their game against the Saints in the regular season’s final weeks. That kickoff will remain scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CT in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and provide a nice breather for New Orleans between home-and-home matchups with the Carolina Panthers. https://saintswire.usatoday.com/2018...-week-16-flex/ |
