Look, the guy wants to win, and win he will do here. He has a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. He knows he is in the perfect place to do just that.

Give the man a chance. We have the leaders in place in management, coaching, and on the field, to bring Dez into the fold. Winning cures a whole lotta ills...

Okay...just want to play devils advocate here....but Dez is here on a 1 year deal right? Soooo he's gonna wanna produce this season so he can pick up his "big contract" somewhere else right? Okay....well how pissed off do you think he's gonna get if he doesn't get the ball enough to showcase his talent (or whatever he has left in the tank) to other teams for next season? I can totally see him turning into an *******.

Maybe not. Idk. I'm good with the signing...if he's cool.

But do you think he's gonna be a teamer when he gets say ....3 targets a game? Lol.

I’m sure he was made well aware of the situation before a contract was even offered...

I wonder when he will play? Surely he won’t be this week.

Cincinnati is ranked 32nd in total defense: 32nd against the pass and 26th against the run.

This could be the perfect game to get his feet wet and see how he fits in; Dez is a veteran so I believe he will pick up the Saints scheme quickly.

That’s what I’m hearing daily it’s going to be an all out 50-49 Super Bowl defense will not matter the way teams are made up this year. New England’s De is showing up the all world rams de is going to crumble imo

He cannot possibly be less productive than the other guys we're running out there not named Thomas and Smith. I don't know if he'll play, but I think I'll be mildly surprised if he doesn't.

Hey, we put 3 QBs on the field...

At minimum we can split him out wide and use him as a decoy. With Peyton’s reputation, he would probably draw serious attention.

The Bungles will at least have to spend time planning for it.

I'm sure Adrian Peterson was as well when we signed him to be part of a rotation with Kamara and Ingram and it took him all of 2 quarters to lose his cool and become an issue.

As much preparation as they give educating Bryant on his role it doesn't alleviate my concerns that he's got the history of letting his emotions get the better of him during a game where things don't go his way. I'm hopeful that the release from Dallas, struggles to find a good situation to play and opportunity to be part of a post season run is enough to push his immaturity to the way side for half a season.

Don't get me wrong, it's a no lose situation for the team. If he doesn't pan out the have lost nothing. Our locker room and team leadership is rock solid and he won't break it. It's a low risk and possibly greater reward situation for all parties.
