Re: Junior Galette
So, I decided to stagger back to this forum after over three years away. I was excited about the Saints winning 7 in a row, beating the undefeated Rams, and signing Dez Bryant. And, what do I get when I come back? This crap.
This is like an ex drunk-texting you years after a bad breakup, apologizing and wanting a second chance, and you've moved on and are happy. And, just like that situation, it's best to just block them and keep going on with your life. The bridge isn't just burned, it's been taken apart piece by piece and had feces smeared all over the pieces, THEN burned. Just go away, loser. #Rant |

I’m not really sure what to say about this. Sometimes when you screw up you just don’t get another chance. He’s learning that the hard way. I hope he’s getting help for his issues.

Sigh...in a way, I feel for the guy. Clearly it's been a bumpy road since he left, and the compassionate side of me hopes that he gets right and has a good life. On the other hand, he's reaping what he sowed, and I can't simply forget all the ****ty things he said and did, both to our team and to other people. I guess what I'm saying is, good luck Junior, but your ship here has already sailed.

Re: Junior Galette
I was just shocked so many fans declaring live and that we needed him he deserved another go.
I can forgive all the crap after, mostly cause its not my place to forgive shots at other people. But forgetting is another thing entirely |

Re: Junior Galette
For me, it isn't even about his behavior. It's about production on the football field. Galette was so enamored with getting sacks that he'd lose contain on the regular. Everybody and their mama knew to simply run the ball to his outside shoulder to get huge gains.
What I absolutely love about Davenport is that he's smart enough to keep contain while still being athletic enough to get to the QB if necessary. SFIAH |
