"Let's watch how the Saints make these four players Suh, Brockers, Aaron Donald, & newly acquired Dante' Fowler Jr simply disappear .. like it's a Siegfried & Roy show". LMAO !!
Brian Baldinger analysis & quotes on the Saints dominant O line makes me smile. |

Not sure if he does these analysis for other teams, but seems like he's been crushing on the Saints this year. And rightfully so!

The whole OL are Pb'ers. Can't get to Brees and the run blocking is just as good. Then Brees attacking Marcus Peters just for the hell of it. Totally demoralizing their best defender. Sick.

Here is a little math for you. If you summed up their salaries and divided by the games played per season you get a number that reflects $ per game. If you took that number and divide by the number sacks per game you get $ per sack. If you calculate the number of times they sacked Brees the answer approaches infinity. In computer speak you get "division by zero error" which is a pretty good indication of the performance of their D line against the Saints' O-line. Yes, Brees and Thomas are putting up some crazy completion and reception percentage stats, but the O-line has been putting up some equally impressive numbers themselves. Brees has been sacked once in the last four games. With protection like that, who knows how long he can play. |
