With our ball control offense and D-line....

Re: MNF crew really pushing for Mahomes as MVP

I think the MVP talk with Pat will slowly die. He choked in the worst times of the game. 2 difficult opponents, 2 L's. 21 points off turnovers was on his watch.

We saw where youth and inexperience will get you beat at this level. He's a very promising player, however not quite ready for big time, prime time.

Good pro but MVP? ... no sir.

Is this a new record, 8 TDs in one game? Six for the Chiefs and two for the Rams.

It appears that Mahomes may not the "second coming" of the QB god after. Considering that Brees owns or will soon own essentially every QB record in the book, that would appear to make him the "first coming". Yet, many talking heads somehow think that he is still not MVP worthy.

New record for what? Combined TD passes in a game? Absolutely not. Brees and Eli Manning threw collectively 13 TD in that 52-49 track meet three years ago.

I think he is referring to the fact that Mahomes threw for 6 TDs for the Chiefs, and had two turnovers that were returned for TDs by the Rams. So, in a way, he was responsible for 8 TDs.

Give the man a cigar for so brilliantly interpreting my innuendo.

SaintFanINATLHELL, Note that my posts are laden with sarcasm, at least those that aren't totally irrational. I will forgive you considering the burden you live under as a Saints fan in GA.

I got the sarcasm. Just imagine Brett Favre's combined TD totals if you went back and added them up
