As the latest power rankings basically stated, neither team can really be defined as a Super Bowl contender when your defense gets ripped for 50+ points by a decent offense.
Each team has a couple of stand out great defenders but as a unit and after their great players the rest is just garbage that will get picked apart by good offenses with ease. Even with the cake walk schedules these two teams have remaining they will each lose another game for sure. But with defenses like they have I don't see either team going to championship games when defense starts to really matter. Neither have it and it's going to cost them. |
