With Delhomme gone, all I can say is I hope Saintfan is right. I hope that Brooks really is the QB of the future, he is the next Brett Favre waiting to come out of his shell this year. I believe that Saints may have just given away their future. Delhomme is going to become a quality West Coast quarterback b/c he has accuracy, leadership, and smarts. He knows how to manage the game.

Now, it's time for Aaron Brooks to step up and play like the franchise quarterback he's being paid to be. He needs to be the most reliable, stable, guy on our team. No man should know more about what the Saints are trying to do on offense. No one should be a bigger leader.

As important, he better stay healthy. Look at the back up quartbacks out there. They aren't real impressive. Do you think the Saints can lure Bulger away from St. Louis? B/c I'm not interested in Kordell Stewart, Tony Banks, or Charlie Batch. They're all worthless. Maybe the Saints could get Doug Johnson from the Falcons. I like that kid. Shuan King or Chris Redman would be the next best options, but neither of them have been very impressive thus far in their careers. I'll tell you what though. It looks like Blake and the Ravens will come to an agreement, but if they don't, get his butt back down here in Black and Gold! Who did the Saint protect in Free Agency this year, and why wasn't Delhomme one of those players?
