Wasn't last week enough to show that Brandon Marshall really isn't all that crucial to the Saints' success? As long as the Saints offense is moving the chains and taking care of the ball, the personnel packages really isn't the most important thing.

When it comes to the Brandon Marshall signing, I get Ochocinco with the Pats in 2011 vibes.

Yea, Bryant I get, he still had some left in the tank. Especially with Brees. I just don’t know how much Marshall can add at 35. Maybe put him in for Hail Mary.

Re: Tre’Quan Smith limited, Terron Armstead out at Saints practice
If Marshall sees the field, everyone will like what he brings to the team. I love the young guys. But, Smith is banged up. Kirkwood, for all the positives he's shown, is still on the PS without injuries. Carr is a solid player but is only a role type player in the NFL. This year is the Saints best and maybe last chance to win it all. Having a vet like Marshall if only for insurance is very important.
