Tight Ends ?????????
I don't know much about our tight ends other than Conwell is old, Boo can't block and last season couldn't catch either and the only thing distinguishable about Shad Meier is, well, his name Shad.
What is the story with Zachary Hilton?? Is there anyone on our roster who can block well and at least be a decent receiver?? |

RE: Tight Ends ?????????
I know the Titans really wanted to keep Shad. But they were in salary cap trouble and were forced to let him go. Their loss - our gain.
I think he's much better than anything we currently have. Hilton has promise so I'm excited to see how he does in camp. I'd like to think we keep the two youngsters Shad and Hilton and let Boo/Conwell battle it out for the 3rd spot. |

Agree with both u guys. Shad will be the started cause Boo is too worried about being a dancer and Ernie is pretty old and injury prone!!!

This weeks black and gold supersaints weekly didnt even mention shad. plus, ive seen a lot of good talk about hilton. this might be one of the better preseason battles outside of the LB's and WR #3.
If the third wr spot works out, i would rather have the better blocker in there than another pass threat. We need to blaze a trail for deuce all season. Of all the IF's, I think he is the most probable at producing big time. He's about to let the big dogg eat this year. |

You mean Ron Zook and John Bunting... they were co-defensive coordinators. When Bunting left, Zook went down hill. Alex Molden was an absolute bust... what a wasted 13th pick. Small was also a wide receiver not tightend. Ray Zellars was better at running back than fullback.
You forgot Vaughn Johnson. The other defensive players look about right. |
