this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't expect Kirkwood, Tre (dropped a sure td), Arnold (fumbled) & Brees (started off 0-4) to play this poorly again. I could be wrong but Kamara didn't flow/move as he usually does. Body language was weird. Bushrod got exposed ...

Bushrod got exposed last night. Say what you want about Terron Armstead but we'll need him in the playoffs. |

I'm hearing from all the media today that Payton called a bad game, and tbh I agree. Dallas has great linebacker player, and really we approached the Dallas defense like we do most defenses we face... which was a huge mistake. Most teams can't stop Brees, Kamara, and Thomas from picking them apart at the linebacker level, but Dallas could. We needed to get Ingram going. Ingram is the key to beating teams like that. You get yards with Ingram and set up the play action for the big play. I'm sure in hindsight, Payton realizes that he didn't call a good game. If we played them again, I feel confident that we'd win. I just hope losing HFA doesn't hurt us too badly.
