Saints film room: Take a closer look at what plagued offense against Cowboys

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The defenses smashed each other all game. It was a defensive game and We stopped them twice on their final drive with time to win. Brees doesn't side-arm like Gannon could...bad throw, good dive for the ball for the INT....

Re: Saints film room: Take a closer look at what plagued offense against Cowboys

Drew had that deer-in-the-headlights look from the moment of the opening whistle...

Don't know if it was because of the homecoming (Austin, TX) or three (3) games in twelve (12) days - Brees had the look that portends a Saints loss...

Payton made some serious gaffes in the game management and play-calling and Brees looked totally out-of-sync...

But, it was one loss in what, ten games?

The ten day rest is the only comfort in an NFL set-up schedule that we all knew the big FU was coming...

Rams have to go to Chicago and hopefully Mr. Career Backup will be back on the bench with his thoughts and prayers of not going on the field...

Saints hold serve, Chicago does us a solid - then we've got home-field and a helluva an advantage to punch a ticket to the Big Dance in the Tournament...
Barry from MS, dam1953 and K Major like this.

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Sean Payton should have ample time to fix the offensive sluggishness.

Ten Days Rest and Not having 3 games in twelve days will also help...

The D looked good. If you give Sean Peyton and Drew Brees a full week to prepare and gameplan for any D in the league, Who Dat! I say good game Cowgirls. I doubt they'll get far enough for the Saints to see them again. We can only hope.

Did anyone notice the blue cleats Davis and Jordan wore against the cowboys? What’s that about?
