We may be the 1 seed now
But we have to win tonight to have a two-game lead (including h2h) over LAR. LAR's last two games are way winnable and our last three are losable. Chicago has two road games to close out and they are better than Minnesota this year. If Chicago ends up getting a bye it will not be because LA lost again. It will because we screwed up. Right now, we need to stay ahead of Chicago because if we don't end up the 1 seed now, we could be the 3 seed! So it's not about LA, it's about Chicago. We cannot lose these next two games both. And Pittsburgh is a must win.

Re: We may be the 1 seed now
i feel like this last stretch of games has just been too weird to call. vikings look way better with a new OC that actually uses their stud RB. and san fran just upset the hawks. saints just need to take care of business period because there's no telling if anyone else is gonna do them any favors.

Our offense needs to get back their swagger and come out hot early against Carolina to set the tone for what’s left of the season. It’s going to be tough with out o line kind of beat up. Carolina isn’t about to lay down either. They have nothing to lose and can play high risk ball. Offense comes out flat and we are screwed. Defense has been doing enough. The Rams we can handle, I have no doubt. I just want to keep as much distance between us and them as possible. I think they are all must wins. At very least 2 out of 3. |

The top seed would be a plus, but we also can't kill ourselves getting it. These are little skirmishes on the way to the war that is the NFL playoffs. May need to be a bit vanilla vs the Steelers in the off chance we see them in the Super Bowl. The Bears and Rams teams are young and pretty new to the playoffs; one or both could falter in the playoffs before we meet them and then we have the de-facto home field anyway. Just my two cents.
