There’s no way on God’s green Earth I would let Brees, Thomas, Kamara, Lattimore or Davis play next week.

Put Armstead in bubble wrap. Unger & Peat in the 1st Qtr, Tom & Clapp to finish. Brees to get 4K, then Teddy, Teddy, Teddy. I'd like to see everyone of our young back ups on defense get a shot to shine for an entire game, especially Hardee & Biegel.

Risk injury for 8 yards? That would be monumentally stupid. Carolina D already wants payback and they will be double pissed knowing Brees is out there with nothing to play for other than to break a record against them. No.

Why even risk the possibility of injury? The game is literally meaningless. It's the 17 week of the regular season. And with the bye, the week after isn't going to be routine whether or not the starters play.

The objective each season is to win the Super Bowl. Nothing about next week's game is going to advance the Saints towards that objective.

Rest as many as you can.
