Josh Hill could be re-signed at an affordable price; veteran that know the system and will give stability to the tight end group; he's showed some inconsistency the past season likely due to playing injured; re-sign...

Ben Watson is done, next to nothing left in the tank; has to come off the field after running a route; inspirational at his age to do what he's even capable of doing, but it's obvious he's done; move on...

Would a reunion with Jimmy Graham been in the best interests of both parties - maybe; but, Graham's body seemingly aged faster playing outdoors in Seattle and now Green Bay; offer 3 Day contract to retire...

Fav Free Agent Target, Pittsburgh's Jessie James always on the wrong side of the coin-flip with the mercurial Roethlisberger, lacking chemistry; perhaps his production sees a boost in the Payton/Brees offense...

Reclamation project, Comeback Player that intrigues is Maxx Williams, a top flight TE prospect in his respective draft, Baltimore failed to develop the miscast tight end; again, Payton/Brees boost factor...

So far as draft picks, too early to tell with what few draft picks we now have which should probably be used to develop offensive line depth, maybe a cornerback that falls?!?

So many threads about the same issue...anyways, we don't have the draft picks to address what will be several needs (e.g. offensive line, cornerback, strong safety, running back, and tight end)...

Expect a heavy dose of free agency which is what Payton/Mickster prefer...

I'm feeling the above two names would make the best transition, fit for the Saints...

I feel good about D Arnold stepping up to be our next starting TE. He has shown a lot of promise.

I think Arnold will be a serious contender next season.

No you can't. You've not been as good as last year. There has been a massive drop-off so no, you don't get a ring. Deal with it.😀

I’d say we can look to the draft for a starter, but for some reason TE is a really difficult position transitioning from college to the pros.
Yep. And we have no draft picks.

Re: Benjamin Watson To Retire

Wish I could have retired at 38 years old. Greg coming here would be a dart to Carolina. Now if we could just get A Brown and TJ Watt from Pitt we would be a Dynasty. Our biggest issue is going to be how we try and replace Brees otherwise we fall off the map. This is going to be our biggest problem going forward we just have not seen enough from anybody else. Can Hill really be the answer ? And for me Bridgewater is not the answer from what I have seen from Him I think Buffalo (?) he is only average

Great player but rides the IR a lot and at 33 years old not sure what's left.
