Re: Breaking down Teddy Bridgewater’s future in New Orleans
I'm gonna hate to see him go, and I believe we'll come to regret it. I know a lot of folks werent impressed today, but I saw what I needed to see. Given the full offense, both in terms of playbook and players, he could keep this team in the mix for years to come. He may never be Brees level great, but there are only a small handful of guys throughout the history of this league who even deserve to be mentioned alongside Drew. Teddy is gonna be a good QB for somebody pretty soon, I'd rather it be for us. I think we have one more year with Drew, two at the most. If they could convince Teddy to stick around on a 2 year deal he could inherit a team full of studs and he'd have complete knowledge and command of the offense. I'm hoping that might somehow be enough to keep him here. Money talks though, so we'll see.
