New Orleans Saints fans have embraced reserve quarterback and do-it-all player Taysom Hill, but someone else could have been winning their hearts if Saints head coach Sean Payton had gotten his way: former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.

yeah, well, somehow I just can't imagine Tebow being as effective on special teams like Taysom, as well as a productive run blocker.

That may not look like a big difference, but as a former sprinter I can tell you that is a HUGE difference.
Taysom's speed and versatility makes him a much better choice for the Saints. Tebow would've been a pretty good Wildcat/Run option QB , and that's about it. So, sorry Tebow. You woulda never been the "same thing" as Taysom.

Only similarity is they are two “QBs” that aren’t good enough to be Qbs. After that Tebow is nothing like Taysom. Taysom can run and has the talent and ability to play just about any skill position and more. Oh yea, more importantly he’s willing.
