Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. says he’s ‘back to normal’
By Josh Katzenstein, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune joshua_katzenstein@nola.com The Times-Picayune New Orleans Saints wide receiver Ted Ginn Jr. is feeling fully healthy as the team prepares for its first postseason game. “Physically, I’m fine,” he said Wednesday. “I’m back to normal.” Ginn was on injured reserve for nearly two months because of a knee injury. He returned in Week 16 against the Steelers, but then sat out Week 17 against the Panthers. Because Ginn was listed as limited on the practice report before the season finale against the Panthers, there was some concern among the public that he wasn’t at 100 percent, but he practiced Wednesday and said he’s good to go when the Saints host their divisional round playoff game next Sunday. Ginn also said it helped to play in a game after his lengthy absence, especially one against the Steelers that felt like a playoff game. In that Saints win, Ginn had five catches for 74 yards. In five games during the regular season, Ginn had 17 catches for 209 yards and two touchdowns. |

A healthy Ginn should really kick-start our offense. He made several key catches against the Steelers.

Not having Ted Ginn Jr & TA was huge vs Deathstar (Cowgirls) a few weeks back ...
Expect things to be completely different with those two in the line up next Sun (assuming the Cows can get past Seattle on Sat). Byron Jones won't be able to hold the WR's next time around. Teams cannot double Thomas (see Pitt game) & blow up the interior line simply because they can't all crowd the box due to the speed of Ginn taking off the top. Yes, having Ginn Jr back was HUGE. He definitely looked "back to normal" on my TV. I'm hopeful others (Tre, Keith) will step up too. |

Thanks for sharing that Railboss. Did you watch the second video ?
Something about that Keith Kirkwood though. JP called it back at training camp ... all this kid needed was an opportunity. He's made some nice catches in clutch moments. Continue to grind young fella. The game doesn't appear too big for him. |
