well and we are not bad off by any means. So the point that there will be moves and people will have this converted to this etc, I bet we end up 27-30 million avail.

After next year Brees retires and we will have plenty. Until then Loomis will work his magic. I can’t wait to see what he does when the day comes that we are well under the cap.

I dread the day that we are well under the cap if it means Brees is gone. It may take twenty years to find a quality replacement. Quality free agents will stop wanting to come here. Quality in-house free agents will want to go elsewhere.

Be careful what you wish for.

We are in win now mode. I fully anticipate us spending the max we can and making every move to provide immediate dividends on this roster until Brees retires.

Go ahead and kick the can down the road as hard as far as you can. We have a winning team and a little money in the bank. Let's Roll! Just remember this any money that we invest now it's less for later. We will have some big young players contracts who want to get paid coming up very soon. I want to keep the young players that we have and not worry about bring it in high-priced free agents.

That cat knows how to crunch those numbers, man. I meet him at the lance moore/pierre thomas hall of fame induction ceremony and he was at the bar and i walked up to get a beer and he told me hey hows its going and i said going good and you? And he said just fine and i said good. Then i said i never thought id be able to talk to you but since we’ve arrived at this point i wanted to tell you could i hire you to be my accountant on the side cause you know how to make the numbers work no matter how little yall have. And he laughed and said thanks.

That's great! I would have "bent his ear" even more. I think he's brilliant with the way he uses every tool possible in contract and cap manipulation. I learned more about contract quirks and cap tweaking from his moves than from any other source.

Yea i really wanted to but idk why didnt though. Anyways i always thought you might of been mickey on the slick cause of the way you know how the contracts and cap operate.
