Player Profile: Deuce McAllister
Position: RB Height: 6-1 Weight: 232 Born: 12/27/1978 College: Mississippi NFL Experience: 5 Rushing: No. 269 Yards: 1074 Average: 4.0 TD: 9 Receiving: No. 34 Yards: 288 Average: 6.7 TD: 0 Interesting Stat: Due to a series of injuries and poor O-Line Play McAllister was limited to 4.0 yards per carry in 2004, the lowest of his career. Playing Style: Deuce is a complete back. He runs with power inside and has the speed to make plays on the outside. He also has above average hands. 2004 Recap: 2004 was a year to forget. Nagging injuries and the bad decision to go without at Full Back, lead to a very poor start. By the end of the year, however he was back on his feet, but far too late for most of his Owners. 2005 outlook: Positives: Deuce is surrounded by a talented team that keeps defense from putting 8 in the box. The no Full Back experiment was dropped, and a lead blocker will help Deuce get to the second level of the defense. The O-Line has also improved via the draft and Free Agency. Negatives: Aaron Brooks. If Brooks can’t prove to be a constant threat in the passing game, team will try to stop Deuce. The Bottom Line: We are very convinced that 2004 was a fluke year, and he should bounce back in 2005. Many owners will be afraid to take him early in the First Round of most drafts making him a mid to late round value in the First Round. http://www.fantasyfootballjournal.co...e231111111.htm |

Deuce McAllister:
Weaknesses: Pouts if he doesn't get his way. Tendency to get fat and injured. Slower than our 36 year old 265lb TE. This is the guy you call our best player? Man no wonder we suck every year. Sorry dude, just keeping it real. |

C'mon Danno. Duece is going to have a great year. You know that. Whats with the "Realist" thing? The "Moonshiners" or "Realists" or "Pessimists" or whatever really p!ssed you off. I can understand that you got irritated, I saw the post. Still, what are you doing? I've always respected your opinion and welcome your optimism. I don't really get involved in the "Moonshiners vs. Sunshiners" deal. I just post, sometimes guys agree, sometimes not. Sometimes they post good arguements. Why go through all this?

Soundsa like an attempt to replace BC to me. There was only one like him and I guess he really misses him so much that he wants to fill that gap. Deuce is the man! No questions about it. ...Just keeping it real too!

And I agree, Deuce is going to stud-out this year. It finally appears he got the message about conditioning.
I am worried about replacing half our O-line though. I know we upgraded significantly, but this team has often demonstrated it takes longer than expected to adjust to anything new. The running game may struggle early, but if he stays healthy the numbers should start rising as the year progresses. |

Replacing half of the o-line? Non-sense. They all got better. Dude, what do you have some secret Victor Riley crush? Do you simply hate J. Brown b/c he ran off Riley? Your ag---... OK, even I can't go that far.
