Rail, I lived in Philly for two years back in the late 90's and was able to attend a 3 games (Vet stadium). That Eagle fan base is down right brutal & hateful. There was even an instance when they (Philly police dept) had to "threaten" fans by going undercover (wore opposing team jerseys) just to keep trouble at a minimum. Embarrassing fans.

Not surprised they had a jail cell on the bottom floor :rolleyes:.

Yup, that Rams game immediately came to mind when I read that. We were killing them at half time, ended up being a nail-biter. Let's not have any nail-biters in the postseason!

I forgot to tell you simple ****s that I had a patient yesterday who was a Cowpuke fan. This dude, 35 years old, had a stroke during the 4th quarter of the Dallas/Seattle game. I immediately told him I was a life long fan of the World Champs, and wrote Fly Eagles Fly on his IV pump.

I personally give the Eagles props for getting where they are with all of their injuries. I hope the Saints don't underestimate them in any way, shape or form.

Only better storyline for the NFL would be an Eagles/Cowboys NFCCG. Both big market teams and one of the biggest rivalries in football. Rigged.

I do too. Turning a season around the way they did is impressive. Add in the injuries they have had to deal with. That team has heart.

exactly. They're really some of the ****tiest people. In 08 when I came down to NOLA for the Monday night game against the pack and even after it was over walking out of the stadium there was good ribbing between pack and Saints fans but never anything in terms of violence from either side

I am 1000% in agreement with this entire post. Growing up in S. Jersey and gone to games in the Mutant Level (700 Level) of the Vet destroyed any notion of liking the Eagles even a little bit.

I agree with deferring to let our D get out there and get down in dirty from the start. This won't be a blow out like Week 11, but it will be a decisive victory to end the magic of 'St. Nick' and shut the Iggles fans up!

Yeah, and say what you want about Atlanta, but I go to that game every year and it's civil.
Flyers fans even worse.

Worst I ever got was when we needed to beat them in 2010 just to get into the playoffs. We did, but during the game a guy shouted at me "Raise your hand if you're the wild card!"
I responded, "Can't- my Super Bowl ring is too heavy." Polite laughter all around.
