I have a slight feeling there too. If Peat's hand was near the point of him not playing he would have been seen with a cast

Not sure when, but I seem to remember hearing that Peat was seen wearing a club cast. It had to have been on NFL Radio. You can play in a club cast. Perhaps it was just so he could practice without pain.

Also, playing in a club cast basically reduces your chances of getting flagged for holding by 50%.
