this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; The NFCCG in 2009 showed that. Nothing will be easy in the playoffs. Every win will be fought for. For this reason, I'm not locking us in for the SB....

Re: Nothing is easy
You're correct. It will not be easy.
I remember 2009 playoffs 1st play from scrimmage Cardinals' Hightower takes it 70 yds to the house. And Cardinals stayed in the game close until Warner threw a pick & then got slaughtered by McCray. That was pretty much it for Kurt & the Cardinals after that. Then Brett Favre nearly beat us in the NFC Champ game. But instead we beat him.. literally. The game went to over-time. Hartley's 40yd FG in OT sent us the Superbowl. Then in the SB, Manning had the Colts leading in the 4th Qtr, & then Saints went up by a score. Next possession Manning was driving deep to tie the score when Tracy Porter ended that drive with a pick-6, & pretty much ended the game. Playoffs are tough. To win at this level of play ya gotta be tough, and get lucky. |

Re: Nothing is easy
Reading some posts isn't easy. We do it, get through it, nothing life altering about a little struggle or work.
