The Birth of a Rivalry: New Orleans Saints vs. Philadelphia Eagles
I remember the Saints signed Eric Allen for some insane reason and he was an absolute bust.
As we approach this season’s Divisional round, two teams are squaring off with more than a little bit of history. The rematch between the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles is the resignation of a bitter rivalry that began more than two decades ago, when the Eagles came from behind to send the Saints packing on a one-and-done trip to the 1992 NFL playoffs. After outscoring the season’s top defense 29-0 in the game’s final quarter, many Saints fans see this year’s matchup as a way to finally close old wounds. https://lastwordonprofootball.com/20...elphia-eagles/ |

I am just thrilled we have been to the playoffs enough time to actually look at a play off record. Our first playoff win... Against next week's opponent. Back when the Rams were our divisional a opponent.

The more you beat teams in the playoffs, the more you will be hated.
Case in point... does anybody have a serious past hate (to name a few) for the Vikings, Bears, Seahawks? |

Vikings & Seahawks. Vikings since our first playoff game stomping & the Seahawks since they signed up Pete the Cheat.

Screw that! I hate Atlanta! I have rugby friends who are from Philly and I hate their yankee attitude while watching the Eagles. "There's another eagles first down" has to be yelled on each and every first down. It gets old and irritating even when we bet them!

Is it bad that I'm still mad at the Vikings for bouncing us in 2000? We got them back in '09, but then last year happened...

Also, I'm mad at the sun, for making John Carney miss the extra point after the River City Relay.
