Re: What I'm Hearing
I keep hearing that because Talib is back, the Rams won't have a problem with Micheal Thomas. Just my opinion but that's just nuts. Talib is better than Peters but he's still not good enough to single up on Thomas.
First, Talib plays left corner. If the Saints don't like the match up, they'll play Thomas on the right side. Simple enough. Secondly, Talib is a physical corner. He's got a great combination of speed and strength, but trying to out physical Thomas is a good way to lose a matchup. Third, what're they gonna do about Ginn? Peters is not a fast corner. If Peters is left one on one with Ginn, Ginn's gonna get open deep and steal the poor boy's gumbo. All in all, Talib being back is better for the Rams than if he weren't in but with or without him, the Rams secondary is still a liability. |
