It's why Clemson, OSU, SEC teams have overtaken other college football teams - they can keep coming at you with waves of fresh horses...

And it's why some teams are in the playoffs while others aren't - because they can maintain a high-level of play without downgrading their play-calling...

If Rankins was not a first round pick (which I still believe he should've had a second round grade) we're probably not even having this conversation...

But he's played great this year (graded less than Big O), unfortunately his body had failed him again - and being physically available is another rare quality among the best NFL players...

Unless our D-linemen start dropping like flies, we're not losing this game because of Rankins; in fact, we're...not...losing...this...f*cking...game...to...Los Angeles...
One could make an argument we got better with O in the Eagles game.

Big O is bigger and stronger than Rankins - when contracts come due, honestly, Big O is my priority...

In fact, I'd rather trade back in the first round or trade the pick outright and have more two's and three's to get multiple Onyemata's and change front fours the way hockey changes lines...

You can actually wear out an opponent's offensive line as it's easier to shut-down a tired team...

I’m going to start taking a good look at this guy for the upcoming draft:

Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame
Height: 6-6. Weight: 304.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
Projected Round (2019): 1-2

Rankins will likely start the season on PUP so DT is looking like a big priority.

ChrisXVI, check out Charlie Campbell's scouting report for Jerry Tillery on WalterFootball.com as it's insightful to what you may get (i.e. John Jenkins)...

Like the idea of Onyemata starting DT3, sign a veteran FA for depth, allow Rankins to recover and then evaluate committing a first, second day pick at DT3 at that point...

Hmm I didn’t know about the claims of personality problems with Tillery; only the motivation issue. Welp that’s why we research.
