Lose the SB, fine.
I thought they would lose to KCC or NEPats.
Brees, retire or take lesser role in playing time next year.
I really acted him to get to SB again to top off an amazing career and he USA decent human being.
I saw the segment hat guys who caught passes from him get a commrative game ball and personal letter. How cool is that!
I really wanted these young guys who worked and made it happen this year to get to that SB. Kamara, Lutz, etc.

Having a season like The did this year is one team’s don’t get to repeat.

The call , lack of call was just so obvlious. A blatant ummm , “error.”

See article on Coach Sean getting call after game from NFL and they said they made a mistake. Oppsy.
SeanP is on that committee so he will be able to make an imprint on new OT rules in championship game.

Sometimes teams, Saints too, get an iffy call in their favor.
Usually this does not happen for the Saints that much, it seems.

This was an in your face, obvious, non debateable, ignored call.

Saints should have not let the game get to that point and Tom OT.

I blame Saints for not seals no more he game earlier and refs for not making that call..

( G’night. I am exhausted now)

Three third quarter no call third down pass interference drive killers don't help

Pardon my awful typos. I need to take autocorrect off. It corrects things that do not need to be corrected.

You tell 'em girl friend! :lightsabres:

Now that I've watched the supposed face mask penalty several times, I'm convinced that it is a borderline play at best. I heard all last week how we got the benefit of the doubt on that call, and somehow it evened things out. In my view this isn't a facemask penalty, but it is very subjective. The hand lets go of the face mask a moment after it is grabbed. I don't even think the grab is what caused the helmet to turn, but the force of the arm and hand going against the helmet. I think more officials would not call that then actually call it.

The potential face mask was one of the borderline calls they weren't making all game. That was consistent with how they were calling the game. But you can't not throw a flag on the play that threw the game. What I haven't heard anyone else say is that not only were there multiple penalties on the play, but also BOTH penalties should have been assessed because one of them was a personal foul. That would have left the ball at the one-and-a-half yard line, first and goal.

3rd? For me, the tone was "set" by the refs in the 1st quarter after Josh H was concussed. That clown corner Robey was all over the field making bad play after bad play however no PI's penalty or helmet to helmet flags.

:disgusted:

Agree. It was clear the game would be played with more than normal contact. In the end it will likely go down as one of the worst officiated games of the season.

I want to be clear. IMO, The game was officiated unfairly and in favor of the Rams. People can argue we had chances and I agree we did not do enough but in the end a magnifying glass must be placed on the league and it’s extreme failure to “get it right”.

This article sums up just how many “human errors” affected a CHAMPIONSHIP game.

This could be a bit off base however remember when ...

REMOVED - personal identifiable information was removed.

Yet in a NFCCG & a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, the League allows 4 referees are from the surrounding & or/greater South Los Angeles area officiate this game? Why weren't these guys assigned to the KC/Patriots game? How does the league allow this? This will go down as the worst non call in SPORTS history.

IMO, it's just a bad look for the "shield". It stinks.
