NFL.com posts article admitting Bill Vinovich's officiating crew blew PI call

NFL.com Kevin Petra wrote a postgame article on NFL.com with quotes from VP of Officiating Al Riveron admitting the refs blew the pass interference call, and a helmet-to-helmet penaty.

Payton added that senior vice president of officiating Al Riveron told him that Bill Vinovich's officiating crew missed two calls on the play: the defensive pass interference and a helmet-to-helmet penalty on Robey-Coleman. The coach said Riveron told Payton, "We messed it up."

Then Robey Coleman pretty much admitted he committed pass interference on the play

They can publicly admit whatever the **** they want to, doesn't do a thing. Only way to make it right is to declare us the winners instead, and since that won't happen, nothing they do matters.

FAKE

Top right, if you watch the entire play he touched his facemask but never grabbed it.

Bottom right - right after play he didn't stand on his helmet, he spread his legs and ended up sitting on him briefly to avoid his head.

Top left, the clock hit 00 and the ball was snapped.

Don't know about bottom left.
I do know the Rams offensive line held on probably 10 plays that never were called...........
In fact, I think the entire country saw it all.

The loss was hard. I don't want to take anything away from the Rams, they're a good team. But as I've said many times, my mom is pretty much on her last leg suffering from esophageal cancer. She's been through hell with radiation and chemo.

She watched the game today today with me, my dad, my oldest brother, my wife, and my in-laws at my parents house.
What was sad is it didn't quite soak into my mom's mind until about 5 minutes after the game ended that the Saints lost.
It broke her heart and she broke down and cried in her wheelchair. I think she looked forward to the games every week.
Possibility of a Superbowl made her happy.

Life goes on and we'll move forward no matter how fair or unfair life seems to be. Very difficult day, nonetheless.
