Yeah I'm sorry folks but in the other camera angle from a little higher up in the stands, you can definitely see the body language -- the white haired ref nearer to the play immediately crosses his arms and signals NO GOOD, and then he looks over at the other ref and he quickly signals NO GOOD at him a second time, for emphasis -- with that second gesture he is telling the other ref to stand down, and not pull out the flag. The body language of the two refs, the first ref is aggressive and posturing like NO GOOD, ignoring everything that just happened in the play, but the second ref is clearly in that moment about to reach for his flag but he's "paused" by that second crossed arm NO GOOD signal, and so he relaxes his ENTIRE body and defers to the first ref, but only after the first ref makes that second NO GOOD signal, for emphasis.

Ignore everything else, just read the body language of the two refs. The second ref was about to pull the flag, ,but the first ref (the grey haired one) over ruled him.

Re: Zebras on parade

In another piece of footage from the stands, you an also see a bewildered Terry Bradshaw right there on the sideline, instantly turning around to his colleagues and gesturing with his arms like "WTF just happened, where's the flag? Huh?"

Bradshaw immediately knew the Saints were getting hosed. Immediately. It was that egregiously bad.

This has been my argument. Im a big UK fan and there are refs that live in Kentucky that are not allowed to call a UK basketball game. Does not make any sense.

Re: Zebras on parade

Clear view that the ball was not tipped and it had a tight spiral. If refs are judged on performances, still no excuse for 4 refs from California place in the dome instead of being assigned to the chiefs games. Funny thing is that the Los Angeles area still not going to support the NFL (national fraud league)
