This guy had hype well before the Senior bowl ... people weren't paying attention due to the fact of where he played his college ball.

I remember watching ESPN/Mel Blount being honored at Southern University on the day they played SC State down in Baton Rouge as a featured Black College sports game of the week. He mentioned Leonard (as a JUNIOR) numerous times in the broadcast on his ability to shed blocks & consistently make tackles & told analyst to watch him closely because he has NFL ability at the position. Congrats to Darius on the Def ROY award. Well deserved.

I've always been apprehensive with red flags going off on guys who decline to compete...
