To replay any portion of the controversial NFC Championship loss by the Saints would cause a potential delay to the playing of an event that has an “investment of more than $100 million," according to a sworn affidavit filed by Joseph Sinclare, the Executive Vice President and CEO of the NFL.

They don’t have to replay the game. Give us the first down and let us kick the FG.
I wouldn’t want to replay at this point anyway. |

Good, we got a response from them. I don't care about winning, I just want to wear them down so Goodell is irritated and tired when he has to make his appearances next week in Atlanta, and hope for a slip up.

It would be wonderful poetic justice if Goodell handles this badly (continues to ignore it, tries to make it go away and does nothing about it) and it ultimately proves to be his undoing. There are approximately 31 other owners who do not want this to happen to them. I'm beginning to wonder how this ******* never has 24 owners pissed off at him at any one time.

There would be no reason to delay the Super bowl, just to play a couple minutes of a game. Furthermore, if they had immediately made a decision to rectify their mistake, there would be even less reason to delay the Super Bowl.
The fact that they dragged their feet to even make a statement, one way or the other, tells you all you need to know. There was never any discussion or intent to replay any or all of the game. That is, of course, no surprise. |

So absorb it. Pay better attention to your refs. Use technology to stop them from cheating. You're handing out just south of 300 million to each of your 32 teams every year, on broadcasting revenue alone.
Cry me an effing river about expense and logistics. Saintfan DGAF. |

Right! They could have the Rams and Saints play out the final 1:43 before the Kickoff of the Super Bowl. Winner plays the Pats.
