Say that the Saints scored with 1:53, would the defense have stopped the Rams? It's all "Ifs and Buts and Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda"

One scenario that played out in my head ... what if we'd managed to score 7, but the Rams came up short on their drive? Everyone would be talking about how McVay second guessed himself on the previous possession going for 3 on the goalline instead of the TD.

The odds are far more significantly weighted for a Saints win...

I'm inclined to agree as the only area they were moving the ball was in the underneath, flats, and there wasn't enough time to go downfield sans multiple mistackles...
