Extend Brees so we have enough to sign Ingram and the new contract for Thomas then go after the holes we have left in FA and the draft.

I would expect that to be part of the plan.

They didn't sign him strictly for his skills as a safety. He's a special teams stud. The Saints have been putting a strong emphasis on special teams play over the last couple years and it shows. He's a big part of that improvement.

Brees is the only QB that can make Graham a dangerous weapon.

There it is. It’s finally over and I think it’s safe to say that this was an unmitigated disaster for the Steelers. A 3rd and 5th round pick?! Plus $21mil in dead cap this season?!

With regards to the AB trade...

If the Raiders offense explodes and Pittsburgh collapses, a lot of media talking heads are going to pivot to praising Gruden vs ripping on him...

And, in turn, those same talking heads will take their humiliation out on Ben (alleged) Rapistburger - in fact, you'll probably anti-Ben stories re-visited...

In the big picture, the Raiders turned Amari Cooper, a 3rd and 5th into Antonio Brown and a 1st.

I agree. Cooper would have been asking for/getting $12M/year. So to me they got a steal when you look at everything they were able to pull off with those two players.
