*****ing about the schedule is useless. All teams have stretches that are going to be tough. If we are indeed a contender we will need to get it done regardless. At least we have a favorable bye and after week 4 it gets easier.

No question we have to beat all challenges...

But that BS last year, three games within 13 days, with a 53-man roster, common sense will even say that's too much physical stress even for world-class athletes bodies, and the caboose of that trip was AWAY, in Dallas...

Complaining to a complicit league office about the schedule may be useless, but that doesn't mean criticism is not warranted...

That was an absolute brutal stretch of NFL football and very unfair scheduling.

The body needs time to heal and recover.

Wasn't last years schedule tough too? It took every card Roger Godhell had up his sleeve to stop us from winning the Super bowl and he's right back to playing the same damn game!:argue:

At least we didn't end up getting screwed hard on the schedule like Tampa Bay and Oakland did. 6 game stretch not being at home. I would be outraged over that if I were a Raiders or Bucs fan.

You really think Tampa or Oakland are going to be contenders this year? Compare our schedule to the final four, eight teams last year...

Better still, compare our schedule to Goodell's Preferred Teams - Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Baltimore, NY Giants, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh...

We don't have a game in London or Mexico which is a huge plus, something that one of those teams you listed has to deal with (Bears have a London game, while the Chargers and Chiefs play in Mexico; two playoff teams from last year). We don't have to travel anywhere for a cold weather game late in the season.

If they really wanted to screw us hard, they would've made the Seattle and Chicago road games in November or December. I know the general consensus among us as Saints fans is that Roger Goodell is moving heaven and earth to screw us, but if that's true, he's doing a poor job at it with this schedule.

It's a division winning schedule. We were always going to have a tough schedule based off that. We don't get the luxury of playing in the AFC South, AFC East or NFC East which are truly bad divisions. Last year's schedule looked tough as nails for the same reason that it was a division winning schedule.

The only stretch of the schedule I have a real beef with, is after the bye week we have 4 consecutive divisional games with Atlanta twice in the mix. This is the toughest stretch cause we have no idea how those games will go. No matter how bad Tampa, Carolina or Atlanta may be, I am sure they'll save their best game for us.

That's my concern with the schedule is that HOU game at home becomes a trap game with players thinking ahead about LA, staying out there a week, then SEA in that freaking zoo - we're loud, they're Philly-crazy...

Playing in Old Mexico is not that bad because you're not dealing with jet lag/time zone issues as you were in England; and that's if they even play there...

And that Bears game is a true AWAY game, a Raiders Home game, and they get a week off AFTER that match BEFORE playing, you guessed it - The Saints...

True - players, coaches will have to just suck it up, but, Nope, it's still F'you scheduling by the league - there's a body of evidence since the Bountygate Beatdown and there's no denying it...

If we didn't play in the NFC South we'd have more Super Bowls. I think we have played in the toughest division in football over the last 15 years by a large margin.

I'd love to see Tampa Bay moved to the AFC South, Move Colts (old NFC team) back to the NFC East, and move Dallas to the NFC South...

Atlanta, Carolina, Dallas, New Orleans - oh, Baby! Would that be sweet!

Hitta, I believe it's made us a better team; what's hurt us more than anything is the secretive, behind-closed-doors, schedule manipulation the NFL employs...

Playing Dallas at their house at the 3rd game of 3 games in 13 days was absolutely ridiculous and totally non-defensible for the NFL to have allowed it to happen...

NFL schedule makers argue that east and west coast teams are put at a disadvantage and is their reasoning for doing it - that's total horsesh!t.

Those coastal teams divisional games are less than a two-hour flight and long flight games or int'l games could be scheduled around byes...

A Rec-League Coordinator could devise a permanent rotating home-away schedule where divisional, rival games begin, end the season, with interconference games in the middle, conference games bracketing those...

And with Free Agency changing the fortunes of teams overnight, it's ridiculous to try and maximize ratings - leave the schedule a permanent rotating one...

It is the toughest division because of Drew Brees and Sean Payton. These teams were built to beat the Saints which explains why it is such a tough division. Fortunately, Ryan buckles under pressure, Newton is a soft primo donna and Winston is an idiot that can't lead his team and is a sub par QB.

In the NFC South the QB's are the weak spot out side of New Orleans. The rest of the teams in our division are built to beat us and play a tough game every time. Heck, they still sneak up on us once in a while!

However, we keep getting substantially better every since Ireland's arrival with the Saints and the division just can't keep up again. We also have the best coaching staff in the division since Payton cut his cronies that won him a Super bowl. Our position coaches could be the best in the NFL and I'm still shocked that we have maintained our coaching staff since we stopped going 7-9.

The New Orleans Saints have released the practice schedule for the 2019 minicamp presented Verizon held at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center. All three practices are open to the public.

Tuesday, June 11:

11a.m. – 1:20 p.m.

Wednesday, June 12:

11 a.m. – 1:20 p.m.

Thursday, June 13:

11 a.m. – 1:20 p.m.

FAN INFORMATION

In the event of inclement weather, (including rain, thunderstorms and extreme heat), the team may move practice indoors with little or no advance warning. Please be advised that fans attending any open practice will not be allowed inside the indoor facility due to space limitations if inclement weather forces the team indoors. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience. Media and fan alerts, updates and schedule changes will be made daily on www.neworleanssaints.com or by clicking on to Twitter (@Saints) or Facebook (facebook.com/neworleanssaints). Updates are promptly available on the club’s digital media platforms

Gates will open to the public 45 minutes prior to each practice. There is no charge to view practice.

Fans are welcome to take photos of the players during training camp. However, video is prohibited. Saints staff may request at any time that you cease using those devices. Small cameras and binoculars will be allowed. No spectator cameras with lenses more than six inches long will be permitted. Binocular cases and camera bags are not permitted.

Restrooms are available.

Food, beverages and merchandise featuring the newest Saints gear are available for purchase.

Parking for fans is available in the New Orleans Baby Cakes baseball Stadium parking lot.

Visitors with special needs should see a Saints representative for appropriate assistance. The ADA drop-off site is in front of the main entrance gate for practice. A viewing area is available for our disabled fans.

Fans are advised to arrive early as they will be checked via hand-wanding and all bags will be checked by security. To ensure that fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Saints Minicamp Presented by Verizon, the following items are prohibited:

· Animals, except service animals assisting those with disabilities.

· Backpacks, duffel bags, large bags and hard containers

· Bicycles

· Coolers and outside food and beverage, except for fans with medical/dietary needs.

· Hoverboards or other self-propelled devices

· Laser pens

· Artificial noisemakers (air horns, bullhorns, whistles etc.)

· Objects that may obstruct another fan’s view, including umbrellas of over 4’ in diameter

· Oversized purses or handbags (none larger than 16”x14”x13” are allowed).

· Remotely controlled model aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles and drones.

· Selfie sticks and video cameras

· Weapons and firearms (including fireworks, knives, pepper spray and electronic stunning devices).

· Any other item deemed unacceptable by Saints management. Fans are reminded to please leave such items appropriately secured in their vehicles. Prohibited items that are discovered will be confiscated, disposed of and will not be returned.

· The Ochsner Sports Performance Center is a smoke-free facility and no smoking, lighters or e-cigarettes are allowed on the grounds.
