Hard to say which version of either of them would've showed up. Brees had some bad games at the end of the year and Brady had also struggled off and on during the season.
I feel like 2011 Brees and Brady would've been the best ever QB match up for the SB. The Pats and Saints kinda mirrored each other that year; both had a QB who threw for 5,000 yards and a TE with 1,000 yards. Both of them had horrible defenses, so it would've been a back and forth shoot out game. |
