I don't even smoke and I agree with u 100 percent. The dude had it in his apartment. Its not like he was driving around smoking it and selling it. He is still in the wrong and its extremely stupid that he would put his career at risk but don't they have something better to do than to raid peoples apartments for a little weed?

Drug laws aren't relevant when it comes to employer policy. Alcohol is legal and you cant show up for work drunk or under the influence. I can ride my motorcycle all the way to work without a helmet but must put one on to ride on company property.

Alcohol, THC, over the counter medications that can make you drowsy.. If it is detectable in your system, you are considered under the influence. An employer can mandate a policy that you must not be under the influence of any performance altering substance to preform your job....

From a safety perspective I wouldn't want my $30M QB on the field high with a bunch of 300+lb men trying to put him on his ass.

Pot should've been legalized years ago. But even if it were legalized I am sure NFL owners would still have their horrible rules for it.

I'm an old enough fan to remember guys like Chuck Muncie, George Rodgers - some of the most talented RBs in the game, but looked liked goofballs cause now we know they were high on gameday...

Don't condone, agree with recreational use of cannabis; but, as a Conservative-Libertarian, but these athletes are adults making informed choices, and be responsible for their actions...

It's my belief that if you're paying for entertainment from a legit competition, those participants shouldn't have anything in their system in season; especially when marketing young kids as the NFL has done...

But I will say what irks me most is the NFL penalty system as it is now and the value system it reflects - and action speaks louder than words and right now - domestic abuse and it's coverup (e.g. Ravens) is okay...
