this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I still like what Jesse James (TE) brings to the table. He shouldn't break the bank and he's an upgrade over JHill. Jesse has very good hands ( 30 passes caught on 39 targets ) & also blocks extremely well. ...

Re: Saints aren't good enough at receiver to cut Cameron Meredith
I still like what Jesse James (TE) brings to the table.
He shouldn't break the bank and he's an upgrade over JHill. Jesse has very good hands (30 passes caught on 39 targets) & also blocks extremely well. A guy you can trust in clutch moments. |

Another thought on Sigler's article - Saints marched a No. 1 seed with a seemingly Superbowl appearance in hand, sans worst-missed-call-ever, all with no Cam Meredith - so his argument is false...

I want us to pursue UFA C.J. Uzomah from Cinci.

I like C.J. too at TE.
Hopefully the Saints front office take a page from Bellichick. Surround Brees with receivers who can get open quickly. Not necessarily burners but a disciplined slot guy with a short area quickness. I think Free Agency will be big since the Saints are limited in the draft. |
