That would not make us the #1 Super Bowl contender either. AB would be an upgrade to our WR corps, but everything hinges on how Brees is going to play at 40 years old and what happens with the defense. Brees looked pretty bad in the final month of the season, playoffs included and the defense has made some drastic improvements but there are still big question marks looming over them.

The running game didn't look so great either. MI disappeared and he caught no screens. We had 2 offensive options, MT and AK. Not saying I want Brown. I'd rather a younger player. Pats just signed Micheal Bennett...they can make this stuff work (Randy Moss, Chad Johnson) so it's a smear on us if we can't.

It would be a 1 year deal if it ever happens with an option packed longer deal if brees retires after the next Super Bowl win. We can’t afford the worm really
