The biggest "threat" in today's NFL at TE is SIZE. Corner backs excel and match up well in terms of speed however no one wants to deal with a tight ends height/size & wing span.
See Cook, Jimmy Dickens & Shockey, Kelcey & Gronk. All at least 6'5 or greater. Prospects Foster & Warring are big dudes too.
Luckily for us, Brees will target Cook in the redzone. Match up nightmare.
