NFLNew Orleans Saints expected to re-sign Teddy Bridgewater
It looks like Teddy Bridgewater won’t be moving on to another team to become a starter after all.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bridgewater is expected to re-sign with the New Orleans Saints to remain Drew Brees’ backup. Bridgewater made five appearances and started one game for the Saints this past season, completing 14 of his 23 passes for 181 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Louisville, was originally selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round (32nd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft. more here | |
